Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing craze
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It's our problem-free philosophy
Hakuna Matata!
Hakuna Matata?
Yeah. It's our motto!
What's a motto?
Nothing. What's a-motto with you?
Those two words will solve all your problems
That's right. Take Pumbaa here
Why, when he was a young warthog...
When I was a young wart hog
Very nice
Thanks
He found his aroma lacked a certain appeal
He could clear the savannah after every meal
I'm a sensitive soul though I seem thick-skinned
And it hurt that my friends never stood downwind
And oh, the shame He was ashamed
Thought of changin' my name What's in a name?
And I got downhearted How did ya feel?
Everytime that I...
Hey! Pumbaa! Not in front of the kids!
Oh. Sorry
Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing craze
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It's our problem-free philosophy
Hakuna Matata!
Hakuna Matata! Hakuna matata!
Hakuna Matata! Hakuna matata!
Hakuna Matata! Hakuna matata!
Hakuna Matata! Hakuna--
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It's our problem-free philosophy
Hakuna Matata!
(Repeats)
I say "Hakuna"
I say "Matata"
I know it is childins, and so am I. Due to the randomness and long list of my favorite songs from genre to another, my mind debated and resulted into this.
Hakuna Matata is my favorite song because every time I tell my friends that I seriously find this song very nice and suits my personality, they all agree and snatch the favoritism of this song from me. So, I just roll my eyes. Anyway, the music of this song is done by one of my most loved singers, Elton John and lyrics from the genius Tim Rice. Aside from the people behind the song, I'm also in love with the movie where it became popular. Lion King is the best Disney movie I've seen my entire life. Hilariously, you may think, it always make me cry. It had made me cry on the first day and maybe up to the last time will see the movie. I will always love Mofasa and Simba. Because of that, I dream of having a lion as a pet someday.
Before going any further, the reason it is one of my favorite because I think it fits my personality-- very childish, light, easy and has sense. "Never lose the child in you" as what my Eng2 teacher always reminds us. This Disney Song tells us happiness from simple things which we usually tend to ignore. And maybe that's it: the simplicity it shows makes me love it more and more. Lastly, I think it is a well forgotten song which every person who had been a kid even once in his life know. and so every time I sing this song, it somehow allows not only me but also the others who hear me sings it to reminisce their childhood. It kinda gives me power, and make me unique from anyone else who only hears the songs of today.
